This blog was originally created to share the athletic part of my testimony as I entered into my senior season of volleyball. As you can see in my testimony (bottom of page), the first three years of college volleyball were spent injured. God had to humble me. Coming into my senior year, I knew that God was going to bless it. This Blog was then created to share what God has done in my life with people, and in turn I asked for them to pray for God's blessing over my final season of volleyball. I had over 300 people contending for favor on me over this blog. God was more than faithful, and I was not injured during my senior year, and I finished well! :) My testimony can be found at the bottom of the last page, and then updates I made during the season can be found as you follow them up. It is amazing to watch God's faithfulness unfold.
I have now decided to post my prophetic paintings on here so that God can encourage people with His heart on a painting. An explanation of prophetic painting and this ministry can be found right before the paintings begin.
"May the Lamb Who Was Slain Receive the Reward of His Suffering"
“Guard Your Heart” (2/3)
This is the second painting which follows “…And my Daddy said “stay away from Juliet”…”. Notice the rose that is in both paintings, the rose represents your heart. On the stair steps where you cried, there are rose peddles left behind because each time you “awaken love before its time” your heart leaves a piece of it behind. That is not to say that God does not restore your heart, but importance must be placed on guarding your heart. The part of the lyric for this painting says, “I got tired of waiting, wondering if you were ever coming around. My faith in you was fading, when I met you on the outskirts of town…”. The process of waiting for the person God has created for you is sometimes long and frustrating, but God will be faithful to the desire He has placed in your heart. Habakkuk 2:1-3 says, “…For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end, and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Notice that the sky has turned to dusk, but when God says its time, it is time. Stay encouraged and guard your heart! Do not let Satan lie to you and convince you to give it to someone who will only trample it and rip another petal off.
“…And my Daddy said “Stay away from Juliet”…”(1/3)
This is the first painting in a series of three paintings taken from the song “Love Story” by Taylor Swift. I heard this song sang during worship, and God immediately spoke to my heart and showed me three paintings. So often, women seek out a guy to marry, and they “awaken love before its time” (SOS 8:4). Women find themselves broken and crying when a guy they thought they were supposed to be with breaks their heart. The beauty lies in the fact that God is sovereign, and that He has taken the time to create a man that is anointed to love you for exactly who you are. God loves you so much that He will not allow a man to take any part of your heart that he is not allowed to have. Your Heavenly Father says “stay away from Juliet”, or “stay away from my daughter”. God will protect your heart because you are His daughter.
